Jordi Veciana
Jordi Veciana studied industrial design in Barcelona. Once, he finished his studies, he started to work for the company Lypsa in Barcelona designing automobile and trains interiors. Afterwards, he moved to New York, where he worked at the Design Vignelli Associates Studio, and later on for the company Polo Ralph Lauren, designing product, furniture and the interiors of commercial spaces. He also created the showrooms for the fur accessories section of Gianni Versace in New York.
After 11 years in United States, he returns to Spain to join the Inditex Group as creative director of Inditex and Massimo Dutti, Bershka, making the shop window and interior of commercial spaces and directing the communication campaigns.
In 2002 he team up with architect Jordi Castel Tironi setting up Castel Veciana Architecture Studio, located in an industrial warehouse of 600m2 in the 22 @ Barcelona. They develop interior design projects, especially in the world of hospitality and retail, including furniture design and lighting. Their customers are Polo Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Gianni Versace, Inditex (Bershka, Lefties'), Ralph Lauren, Pertegaz, Aira, Bassols, Metalarte, among others.
