Jack Craig

Originally from Washington DC, Jack Craig was trained first as an engineer. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering  and later a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering - both from the University of Maryland. He subsequently worked for the US Navy in the infrared division before leaving to pursue an Industrial Design degree.

In 2010, he received a Bachelor of Art from the University of Illinois.  He continued studies at Cranbrook Academy of Art,  graduating with a Master of Fine Art in 3D Design. Currently operating out of Detroit, his practice looks to exist in the stratospheres  of craft, design, and industry. It is a search for  shifts in the way we understand the ordinary and a restructuring of our realities with new potentials and new mythologies.
