Pierre Ospina

French-Colombian Pierre Ospina was always fascinated by diverse cultures. The combination of taking on artistic studies in 2004 and traveling allowed him to discover, observe, understand, and experience many different artistic practices. Earning his BA in Product Design at the Ecole Supérieure d'Art & Design (2008, Reims, France) further nourished the richness of Pierre's artistic variety in the realms of drawing, graphic design, animation, painting, sculpture, and object installation. It is with the completion of his MA in Design Products at the Royal College of Art (2010, London, United Kingdom) that his positioning in the design world became clearer. Nature is the greatest source of Pierre's inspiration, as he finds it an infinite transformation potential to create objects of art. For their approach of the artistic mediums in the development of their own, he admires great creators such as Nils Udo, James Turrell, Marcel Duchamp, and Jean Prouvé. Pierre Ospina is now based in London.
