Plugged Stool

PVC Series is industrial PVC water mains stripped of their previous function and assigned new ones. Heated, bent, and manipulated by hand, the plastic is humanized through distortion from its highly-machined geometry. A single, simple gesture: stretching or folding is all that is afforded by the immediacy of the process and the limits of one-man production. Made of PVC with walnut, ash, or oak.
